Somewhere in Time is an old fashioned bed and breakfast inn — a place where you can put your feet up and simply relax, read a book, or watch a glorious sunrise or sunset from our rocking chair porch. We welcome you to our home, situated on 40 acres of beautiful Virginia countryside 1 1/2 miles from Kerr Lake/Buggs Island. Come stay with us a while, relax in a hammock or the hot tub or enjoy a picnic on the shores of beautiful Kerr Lake/Buggs Island in Mecklenburg County. You may want to visit nearby attractions such as historic sites, antique shops or the recreational facilities at Kerr Lake. A pass to enjoy the recreation areas at beautiful Kerr Lake is available. A hearty home cooked full country breakfast is served family style every morning, including fresh eggs from our chickens as well as homemade breads, jams and jellies. Sweet tea and lemonade are served in the afternoon along with homemade snacks. Please let Linda know of any dietary restrictions when you make your reservation. An early breakfast is available and special menus are available upon request. Five rooms are available to our guests and all have private baths and TV/DVD/VCR/satellite. Pets are allowed in certain rooms Please see our pet policy for additional information. Lucy, Willie and Bosco are the resident outdoor dogs. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of Mousie, the cat who spends most of his time napping in the closet. Children are welcome to share an adult’s room and sleeping bags are available. Motorcyclists are welcome.
